Our Founding Partner

Attorney Fleming Whited has been a leader in the field of DUI defense since the mid 1980s. He has spoken at over 150 continuing legal education programs in over 30 states, and in four foreign countries on all aspects of defending a DUI case. Recently he has limited his speaking engagements to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for DUI Defense and the Florida Bar Association.

Mr. Whited has published numerous articles, books and reference materials, and has been responsible for precedent-setting DUI defense cases. One of these cases resulted in thousands of breath test results being thrown out of court in Florida.

On July 25, 2002, on the campus of Harvard Law School, Mr. Whited was presented the Richard Erwin Lifetime Achievement Award by the National College for DUI Defense. He is AV rated under Martindale-Hubbell's peer rating system, and is certified as a DUI Specialist by the American Bar Association and the National College for DUI Defense.
